Location Reports

1. Drama Room - This where the 'house party' scene will happen and where Lisa will be taken from by the gangsters. We chose to use the drama room because it has large black curtains which creates a really dark atmosphere and setting which parties have. We will use the stage lights to create a 'party' scene. We decided to use this room as it links in well with the genre of being a Crime thriller as it is a dark room which creates a creepy feel.

2. Car Park - This is where Lisa gets dragged out into the car park and thrown into the back of the car. The reason we chose this car park is because it is a large, secluded area where anything can happen without being noticed. The pathway to the car park will add tension as Lisa is being dragged towards the car. We chose this car park as it is an isolated place and will attract our target audience of 16-18 year olds, as this is the age in which a lot of them are wanting cars and starting driving or even driving.

3. Music Room - This is where Lisa is taken and tied up to a chair to be kept as hostage. Also this is where the phonecall between the gangster Rich, Steve and Lisa takes place. We chose this small room because it is enclosed which creates an eerie feel as it is dark and mysterious. We also think this room links in well with the genre as because it will be dark it sticks to the crime thriller idea.

Casting Notes

Rick as 'Rich the Gangster'
We decided to choose Rick to play as the gangster Rich due to the characteristics he has which matches our ideal image of a 'gangster'. Such as his deep voice; this is very useful as he sounds scary which is stereotypical of a gangster. Furthermore Rick also has the enthusiasm needed to contribute to his part. Rick is also an experienced actor as he took drama in GCSE and was rewarded a grade b which also adds to the reason of why we have chosen this talented actor, he will have a beneficial input.

Emily as 'Lisa'
We chose Emily to be our main character Lisa because she is innocent looking and you wouldn't expect her to be involved in something like this. It makes the character unpredictable because we decided not to use the stereotypical icy blonde female.
She is also a very experienced actress as she studied GCSE Drama and achieved a B and she is currently studying A Level Drama. She is reliable and very willing to play the role.
