We have now begun filming!!

On the 25th of Februaty, I and my group began filimg the first scene to the opening of our thriller. We prioritised the party scene mainly on that day as the people needed to play in our party scene include a lot of people and it wouldn't be as easy to gather them on another day compared to our main characters.

However, after filming and transferring the footage onto our memory stick we noticed that the lighting on the computer isn't as clear as it was whilst filming it on the camera. We also noticed that some of them kept looking in the camera and they didn’t look that excited or in a party mood. They also kept making a lot of noise and singing along to the song which will look weird as we only used this song for them to dance along to and it will not be used in the real thing as it copyright. Below is the footage:

Having discussed this with my group, we have decided to change the mis-en-scene of the party scene and going to film our party scene in the main hall in my sixth form. If that is not successful, we are going to change the camera we use to an iPhones camera as the mega pixels and definition of the camera is much more defined. We have also told the people in the opening exactly what we want them to do, and we will do this by positioning them properly and emphasising to them not to look into the camera and not to sing along.

Feedback:
Hilda: The people look very energetic, which is really good. But, the cameras very blurry and some of the characters dancing are spending too much time looking into the camera/noticing the camera which makes the party seem a bit unrealistic.
Chantelle: It's good as the camera wasn't shaky; it looks like a party scene as it's quite dark. Cut out the parts where people are looking into the camera, and when the girl in the black and white stripes turns around.
Alice: The camera work is extremely good, it's not shaky, and when turning around and filming other sides you can tell that the person filming it had stable hands. However, the party itself doesn't look very good as people are focusing on the camera quite a lot.
