The scenes
are typed out just in case it is not purely visible on the storyboard itself.
1st shot - Mid shot. A flash back so the edit of the scene is
black and white to emphasis this. Main female is walking through the park, she
is about to ring her boyfriend, writing his number on her phone dial.
2nd shot - Mid/Long shot. A flash back so the edit of the scene is black and white to emphasis this. She then presses the call button, and is smiling.
3rd shot - Over the shoulder shot. A flash back so the edit of the scene is black and white to emphasis this. She looks around in the park and spots her boyfriend with another girl, the boy has the phone in his hand and can hear his phone ringing but he busies it and continues to engage in conversation and laughter with the other girl.
4th shot - Close up. Back to contemporary, a close up shot of the girl with tears and her mascara all smudged running down her face.
5th shot - Side view shot. Shows the girl sitting on her bed trying to write him a litter. There are loads of letters shattered out to support the lyrics "but the words don't come out right", suggesting that she has attempted several times to write a suitable letter to him.

6th shot - Over the shoulder shot. The camera then cuts to the actual letter the girl is writing, and follows a few words she writes "Dear Joe, I miss your smile, laugh, hugs. I just miss everything about you".
7th shot - Long shot. A flash back so the edit of the scene is black and white to emphasis this. The girl and her ex playing with his little brother, we decided to do this scene as it fits in with the lyric "how’s your little brother does he still look just like you?".
8th shot - Close up. Close up shot on the calendar, the girl is crossing down the dates, and there are previous dates crossed out-this is to symbolise the days she hasn't seen him for. the lyric: "but it don't get no better as each days go by".
9th shot - Over the shoulder shot. The female is watching a cheesy love film "The notebook".
10th shot - Panning shot. Pans and shows the female is also eating ice cream whilst watching the love film. Visible in the scene is also an open box of chocolates on the table and loads of used up tissues. We really wanted to nail the clichés in this scene as it is contemporary to young girls in society now.
11th shot - Long shot. Whilst she is watching the film she can hear her phone ringing from upstairs.
12th shot - Long shot. She quickly runs up the stairs.
13th shot - Mid shot. She runs into her room and jumps onto her bed straight to her phone.
14th shot - Mid shot. She checks her phone and the missed call is not her ex and she whispers underneath her breath "I wish it was him" and sighs.
15th shot - Mid shot. She is lying on her bed crying her eyes out, you can see the phone visible behind her on the bed from where she has chucked it in desperation.
16th shot - Long shot. She gets his jumper and cuddles it tightly to her chest, crying.
17th shot - Mid shot. She puts on his jumper and gets back on her bed.
18th shot - Mid shot. It goes to a flashback of them two and he is wearing the same jumper she is crying in to.
19th shot - Mid shot. It then goes to another flashback of them two when they're younger and are drawing.
20th shot - Long shot. It cuts to another scene of them playing in the trees.
These are the images of the storyboards I done, we are happy with what we have created. We like our ideas and are confident that it should make a good music video which will appeal to our target audience. We think when we are filming we may come up with some new exciting ideas so these may not be all of our ideas. We are hoping we may think of different scenes when we actually start the process of filming our video. With more ideas we will then have our full music video as we haven't came up with enough ideas yet to fully fill the whole length of our selected song. As we go along we are getting more and more ideas so when we begin filming we feel we will know exactly what we want and what will look good in relation to our song/video.
Audience feedback -
The prezi above demonstrates feedback from three peers from our target audience as we felt we needed to see the thoughts from who we are actually trying to get this video to appeal to. We are happy with the feedback they've given us and we will try and incorporate this in our work and think of their comments when we are creating our video.
